the US have the best individual talent in the world, but it's team basketball that wins games.....teams like greece,argentina, and spain have been/played together awhile and got their chemistry down.. where as USA only got 1-2 months to prepare. well thats what i think european teams have the advantage. it's a four year program to the Olympics in China.... so they will stick with this squad and work some chemistry...whereas the other years they just picked the best players in the nba and just go play...they realise it takes more than that now to win gold....i think its a good program and should stick with it , it'll pay off in the long run.
Nash is a punk. Over rated. Damn americans can't win a gold. I always thought Joe Johnson was a pretty good shooter. They need to add more shooters. Like Richard Hamilton. That guy can shoot.

nash can't play with team USA...hes from Canada.....what we need is kobe, macgrady, garnett, amare, and inverson....a team of shooters and rebounders
I thought Howard was already on the team. Team USA needs shooters. I actually think just Kobe returning would make the current team a lot better.
The team already has good shooters. Joe Johnson and Kirk Hinrich to name a couple. They just need more time to gel and play better as a team. =\
it was only a few years back that during the 90's the usa team was unbeatable and it shocked everyone that they lost a game i think 4-5 years ago?. They are in a sad state now espically with all the individual talent and multi million dollar players.
