I know what you are trying to say but what i meant was if a person wants BBM then they will choose blackberry over anyphone even though other phones are better. For iphone users, they might like itunes in their phone and like ios and the user interface of the iphone so they won't change their minds even if you say other phones are better. But for people who don't know the difference, between phone specs, even if they have the best phone, they prob wont even know how to use it fully.
If I could "like" this post, I would. I do see your point, about how users may want a product based on their preference of a functionality or feature. But what I will never, ever, understand, is the following: 1) iOS interface. Android can duplicate the user interface to the exact icon and pixel. Hell, Android supports widgets, why would anyone want to restrict themselves to prehistoric icons instead of widgets? Even if you wanted icons only, you can do the same in Android. 2) And this bothers me more than the first, is why in the LIVING HELL, would anyone want to use itunes? itunes is probably Steve Jobs' greatest work. Everything a user needs to do goes through itunes, buy music, upload stuff, UPGRADE A DAMN PHONE etc. IN OTHER WORDS Apple controls your ass through itunes. itunes is a prison. Anyone arguing otherwise are just making an excuse. Those who don't know the difference are lazy. They are either materialistic, snobs, or lazy. Those who DO know the difference, and still choose iphones, I respect their choice. They made an educated choice. It's those who are ignorant of the differences that are dumb.
@ Dan See my problem is, is that when it comes time for me to choose a new phone, I'm gonna go for some sort of smartphone. And Fido has terrible choices in smartphones. They're only up to date with the iphones. I want to not get one if I can, cause as you've mentioned, owners are snobby and materialistic. With an Android it seems like the better choice, but since Fido has started selling them, they've offered phones I have no interest in. Or reviews say they aren't great. So when the time comes, if they don't have anything good, I might bite the bullet and go for an iphone. Honestly for me, I know I won't use all of the functions available. I'm mostly an avid texter. And having the option to go on the net when I don't have a computer around is convenient. I could easily be wasting money, that is true. And it can easily be a distraction also. But some of the functions on smartphones have peaked my interest, and I want to convert to one rather than stay with my regular phone.
This will answer your questions and concerns: Iphone will always be an Iphone and some people like showing off that they have an Iphone

Wow, not only did you make a huge ass mistake, but you made a huge ass mistake times 5. I feel bad for you bro. You knew it would be expensive, you are in pain because it was expensive, and yet you still got them. Oh the power of Apple brainwash spells is frightening.
