File Location Question (Win 7)

  1. eventually i will own a 32gb flash drive and install windows 7 on it.... lol a mobile OS!

    lol 32gb is barely enough. I tried to run a 30gb partition for windows 7, and it failed hard. If it's OEM OS it will be enough. But by the time you've installed office, adobe, all the extras, the extra 10gb will be gone. Not to mention that hidden hiberfil.sys that eats up a few more gigabytes.

    lol if i ever boot an os from external storage it will definitely not be windows 7...and i would just boot it as a virtual os lol.

    yep 32 gig is to small, would be ok for running unix on a virtual machine though, and yeah you guys are correct, i would need to reinstall a few of the larger programs because of the registry. Thats not to bad anyway.

    yup yup that's right. My ubuntu is full along with a few episodes of LOO on it and still only uses up 9.37gb XD.
