Well in terms of their main series, they shift multi-platform with Final fantasy XI to cater for online play. I hope that the main series remain with Sony, though I don't really mind them shaking hands with Nintendo again about the main series, they already have FF crystal Chronicles on Gamecube and now Wii soon... the best final fantasies were on the SNES age.
I don't know, but to me it would make no sense for them to just completely drop Sony with whom they have been forever. Although I guess it's possible that they are starting to become multiplatform compatible.
guys!!! check some webs dude.. before this i saw a post on other website... it was about M$ trying to buy MGS4 and Final Fantasy but konami and SE both ask for a lot of money as the transXXXXX(like to transferr the game to 360 <i forgot that word=.=>) fee and thats why M$ didn't accept it.. but i am sure that SONY will DO ANYTHING to keep this two title
The ONLY reason I'm a Sony fan is cause of the FF and Metal Gear series. I think Sony would take a very major blow if FF is not exclusive for the PS3. FFX was the sole reason for me getting my PS2. I definitely won't get the expensive PS3 if the cheaper XBox 360 has it too (especially when it's got better games atm).
