Look on the bright side, FOB parents makes the best food! I know alot of non FOB parents and they go out to eat. Can't cook for there life.
Some dumbass decides to bump this 8 month old post.. but anyway, this post is wrong in so many different ways.
My parents are fobs, i get shit from them. They never yell at me or anything. Even if i get bad ass grades and come home at 4 in the morning on a school night. Is it jst me or is HK parents like that?
My parents were never really that strict. They just wanted me to finish school so can get decent job.
my parents are fobby, too. my mom used to make my sisters and i do traditional cloth stitching. hey, it might be a bad experience for you now, but you'll definately understand what your parents are trying to do as you get older. they're really just trying to prepare you to do better in life. when you are old enough to get a job, you'll really get it. it's going to be hard to get a respectful job out there unless you really work for it. they work hard themselves, right? plus, think about it. if you were a parent, wouldn't you rather have a kid who has a little book smarts than have a couch potato??? hehe. good luck with your parents, though. really. you're already doing a great job for such a young kid. take it easy, but keep an ear open for the parents, eh? -^_^ -rockon
