Sorry, can't do that...last 2 is for me and my dad...-^_^ My mum cook them all in a big ass pan and freezes the rest in. She makes it with Haam Yuk, Lak Chi and Haam Daan. (I don't like the Haam Daan, I personally prefer Toeng Koe's but she didn't add it this year) My mum once made Shui Zhongs, and I like it with sugar

Yup, my mum made less than all the years before (like in the hundreds and gaving a lot away) so perhaps next year Hey, just saw this pic of To Fu Fa and it reminds me this is one of the very few Chinese desserts I do like. -tongue2 I ate two of these (in HK) and I want it again. Self made ones are just not the same as the ones the restaurants are serving.
In Canada, the water make our tofu extra good :9 I always buy it by the plastic containers and make them into savoury dish = savoury tofu fa :9
i agree. the self made stuff just doesn't even come close. i LOOOOOVE tofu fa. whenever i go for dimsum or dinner at chinese restaurant, i get so unhappy if i don't get it.
I kinda feel like it's not worth it to eat tofu fa at a chinese restaurant. Very good tasting ones can be bought at the supermarket. However, if the restaurant is famous for it's tofu fa, I would try it.
no way. there is nothing like fresh warm tofu fa. the supermarket stuff is too cold. and u also gotta make syrup water too...too lazy to do that
Cos that's a gan sui zhong...it doesn't have any filling inside Savoury tofu fa? What do you cook it with? How? WOuldn't it break into pieces once you cook it? Cold tofu fa is nice...warm ones are more fragrant, but cold ones are refreshing on a hot day
