I'm not sure where you're located...but here we have discrimination laws through employment. Random checks are made to ensure that people of color and disabilities are not discriminated against.

Haha. Actually it's true. If you're not born in China, but work in China... you could actually make a pretty decent some of money. I heard from this guy who's aunt works there... and stuff. So yeah.

    Yeah... damn it... darn mando...
But I know that you could go to Japan and teach a little and stuff. Need to be at least in your 3rd year of Uni to be able to apply. That would be cool...

Guangzhou is part of china.. and majority there speaks cantonese..>.< most ppl in shanghai also could speak cantonese.. there's such thing as CANTON people.. my parents are them.. HOngki kinda speak slightly different cantonese from juz we plain cantonese speakers.. theirs is very nice.. like slang lollers.. and some words they use are more appropriate than others..

They are just jealous because Cantonese dialect is as popular as Mandarin.

YES!!! EXACTLY!!!! I get so offended... I want to like punch the crap outta them!

But as for business... I really don't know. I good go into hotel and food management or something. Maybe then after, help out with the family business and stuff like that. But we'll have to see. But then again, I have to choose what I want to get into quickly, cause this coming year is my last year of high school... omg... sad... but happy... yet sad... lol.

Next time they claim Cantonese is not Chinese or if they say it's not "real" Chinese, ask them why they watch Cantonese dramas, listen to cantonese music, try to learn Cantonese slang and convert them into Mandarin... Tell them to go to HK and see if they are able to use their Mandarin Chinese and get around easily....-bash
