i was under the impression your so called evil sista there would be of some assistance to this thread..
Guess so, although I must say it's more like a pseudo-paranormal drama (like The Reaping) more than horror...
Ok, let me help babyrain a bit out: Saw Mr. Vampire again a few weeks ago... In Chinese superstitions, the old traditional brick houses have a high treshold to prevent the vampires stepping into the house. In Mr. Vampire however, the vampires managed to jump over these high tresholds, so isn't that a bit contradictory with the superstition even when it's just a film?
If I recall properly in the movie; the older vampire broke the door down.. and sort of more powerful than the usual vampire bcoz if u notice towards the end; the vampire 'walked' instead of 'jumped'... lol. I would have preferred him to stick to jumping though.
lol oke if that's the filmlogic! And what surprises me are the corpses that were really ugly/scary looking and that's an excellent job if you consider it was done back in the mid 80's. Even nowdays not every film corpse can made look like that scary.
Yeah.. maybe you can take another movie into consideration.. The Spooky Encounter starring Sammo Hung. Someone posted it for d/l the other day.. Grab it while u can
Oh thanks for the tip, I'm off to the DL section now! Edit: oops, forgotten I've already seen that one, 2 weeks ago... (saw my own name in the thanks part)
You can just page me if the D/L doesn't work anymore.. then i'll upload it .. coz I grabbed it the other day
