well first learnt cantonese coz parents spoke it den went to skool and learnt english coz live in sydney and went to chinese skool to learn mandarin and write and learn italian in skool

ahh, wouldn't it be great if we all learned latin first? that way, mastering all romanic languages wouldn't be as hard. i'm learning spanish as well.

Lol, well Cantonese isn't a language. It's a dialect. So, I'd say I know 3 languages: English, Malay and Mandarin. Dialects : Cantonese and a little bit of Hokkien. If I am able to, then I'd like to learn Japanese, Korean, French and German as well.
i dont think it matters... as long as u got the determination to learn the language ! some say its easier to learn whilst u are young .. maybe true but i dont know ... but i learn chinese first .. then english -smart
