lol, so we're comparing hours now eh? I've been working 80 hours/week (with the occasional 100+ hours/wk) for the last 3 yrs. But I still find it enjoyable....just very tiring <_<

If you really need the cash, you should go to a temp agency. They can usually hook you up with pretty well paying jobs depending on your level of education and training for the summer.

Otherwise, I would suggest volunteering at a job that you potentially want to do after you finish school so you get a taste of it before committing the time to train for it.

When I was younger, I found the best thing was working/volunteering for an office executive as an assistant. They usually give you a nice gift / bonus at the end of the summer and now you also have made a friend with a potential employer / letter of recommendation writer....

Haha, cool. Thanks, but 47 hrs is still a lot of hours. Actually, most of my friends work just as much as I do, if not more. This was back when I was a training physician.

But of course, it's a gem to him lol =)

    Uh-oh, thread police is here....

i have mixed feelings about my job

becuase i work for a small company
all the people here are OLD
and it's boring to work with them

but at the same time i have a great thing going for me
i'm more relaxed (than i would be at other companies)
they are always switching what i do, so i learn a lot
and they are paying for me to go to back to school for extra certifcates

lately i've been wondering if i should switch jobs
    this position is soooo
well i want to fall asleep when i'm here, no passion

that's why when i wrote a cover letter for google, i noted how i learned so much at my current job, but would like to change my job because i wanted to find a job where i can develop projects that i would be passionate about

Not really, I was really lucky. I just went into an office, introduced myself and told them I have some free time to help them, if they would show me what they do, and they let me start the next day usually .... lol
