Don't go straight into telling her to stop because it will only make her do the opposite. What you need to do is to stop hanging out with her when she is with those people. Continue to hang with her but not with that group. You need to pull her away into your own circle of friends, invite her to all the fun and sociable events so she would rather be with you more. Most people are drawn into bad crowds because they have a misconception for being cool. She doesn't know it yet. if you can't save her then be theere for her when she crashes.
I would be careful with her. Emotional or not, everyone chooses their own path. Don't get yourself into trouble just because your closest friend chooses to. And if she thinks it's cool to do the things she does; then I doubt there's anything you can say or do that will some sense in her. So, why waste your breath?
If she just stumbled upon it in a short period and not caused by environmental factors, then it might be that some qualities she perceived in joining a gang that she looking for........ Find out what underlying reason is and start from there. Pride.....security.....sense of inferiority......."trust"......retalition to family events......etc. go find out.
going down that road is gonna haunt you cuz i been on that road before. you got 2 options talk some sense into her or let her learn from her mistakes. Hope this helps.
Wow...thankies for the replys...lol.. well..i guess i just have to be just frds wif her...cuz our values changed... and she already found another bff that share the same values as her... u could say its her life and not urs... find other frds and forget her...but i never really had a bff that can understand my feelings...but she totally inderstood me.. thats y its hard to see her going the wrong road...to tell the truth...im quiet the girl that doesnt wanna be involed in anything.. unless its bad...i tried not to get involed wif any of her problems...but i end up getting involved...should i really tell her that we shouldnt really hang out cuz were different?
