If you want to abort and your gf doesn't, which answer are you going to choose? Hers? Or yours? She's how old - 17? Is she still attending school? If she is, it'll be an extremely hard experience with people staring and questions going around. I've been to a high school with a sophomore who's pregnant, and people keep spreading rumors about who's baby it is. Etc. It'll be really tough for her. What about her parents? If it were my parents, and I was pregnant, They would most likely kill me. Especially my father. And if you do abort the baby, next time, make sure to use protection. So it won't happen again. ^ I'm probably sure, some people said what I have said, but I didn't want to read everything. So yea. Good luck :(
Abortion is a very common procedure amongst teenage girls. Obviously depending on the stage of fetus and the condition of the mother, some procedures can be a little more complicated than others. I have nothing against people who have abortion esp. when they feel that they are unable to raise their child properly due to several circumstances. Do you know its awful how you decribed that child as 'shit'
I am against abortion in general except for rape victims or medical reasons. If she chooses to have sex, then she should be ready to embrace the consequence. When it comes to "sex", there's no such thing as mistake. If you're easily drunk, then you shouldn't drink. If your neighborhood is dark or whatever, then don't come home late or whatever .. basically, don't put yourself at a spot where accident happens or easily victimize sorta speak. With that being said, if she asked you, then I suggest you tell her to talk it over with the guy who knocked her up FIRST, then tell her parents. She needs to hear all sides before making a decision. You don't want her to take your advice as decision and if something happens, you'll be blamed for life. As a mentor sorta speak, your role is just broaden her views so she doesn't jump to hasty decision; not help her make decision. In fact, don't even mention abortion .. just tell her to talk it over with all parties. If you say something along the line .. at your age, abortion is the best option ... blah, blah, blah .. sometimes, she'll just take your advice and go for it.
If she can, she should discuss this with her parents and the father. she should look at all her options prior to going through an abortion. does she know for sure that she can accept getting one without feeling guilty afterwards? If she's not sure of what to do she may need some counseling; maybe from a clinic (ie, Planned Parenthood).
Let me tell you the right way to handle the situation. She makes the final decision, period. But, please show her your full emotional and financial support. But, how in the world that works!!! She takes a year off from school, raise the baby. The guys parents pay for the expenses, raise the baby afterward and let the young couple a chance to move on, go to college, or go to work...etc. The grandparents have to adopt the baby for the time being. It is the grandparents fault if they didn't emphasize enough and keep their kids from fxxking each others.
Damn yo where you live in NY? lol there is so many jailb8's out there in the ktv bar places =.=" and the guys are like, old. Anyways hope things go well with her.
If you're against abortion, just tell your girl friend to follow this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Safe-haven_law Honestly, whether she decides to do is up to her. But if she does not want the responsibility of taking care of a baby or is not ready to take care of one, just have her surrender her baby safely to proper caretakers
I don't think you should tell her to abort the baby. This will show how irresponsible a person you are. You should really sit down and talk it over with her and discuss what you both want to do.
Hmm at her age... I would recommend abortion. I would definitely abort if I was her. But there are always other options. If she doesn't want her parents to know, then yes, this is the only way to go. But at the same time, there are tons of families who would love to have a child in their lives. Teenagers are pretty stupid now a days... I am not looking forward to raising one in the future. As Russell Peters once said, 'White folks... you need to start beating your kids.'
