Sushi always looks so nice...but 100% needs wasabi all over it.

Think about this...sashimi = raw fish/seafood/meat, sushi = raw fish/seafood/meat on rice shaped by the hand of a sushi chef, wasabi = anti-bacterial agent.

raw + handled food + wasabi = FTW.
raw + handled food + no wasabi = FTL.

I once went to the fish market with a Japanese client and an English client the English guy started eating the sushi with like no soy or wasabi and the Japanese dude was looking at them with the "WTF?" look on his face. and asked why are you eating that with no wasabi? for sure if you are eating sushi dip it in some wasabi it helps to kill the germs.

But speaking of good looking food tastes bad...we had a jar of vegemite on our breakfast table and one of my cousins visiting from overseas thought it was chocolate spread and put a think layer on his toast took one bite and nearly died. Vegemite = yeast extract spread...kind of tastes like Bonox? Marmite? Super salty brown stuff.. really not that bad spread very very thinly on a cracker or buttered toast but in thick layers can do some serious damage to the taste buds...

    I use wasbi for flavouring.
