Jetblue. You'll be surprised that there is an airline specific rule as to the age group of flight crew I can fly with. If I'm in the cockpit, you won't see the 21-25 age group flight attendants on board because I'm in that age group But once I deplane, I get to chill at the JB lounge and get to know flight attendants around the world. JFK is like a world in itself

I wish. I fly from MCO to JFK and that's basically my route for right now.

Looks like my friend who works for Cathay Pacific has more fun, since he is flying over the whole world.
Just hope that I one day meet him, during duty. Perhaps I can have a closer look at the cockpit. But after 9/11 nothing is allowed :(

 

CP is definitely the way to go. I have the hours, but I'm not a HK resident so applying to CP is far within reach

 

There are more ways to become a HK resident. The HK government is looking for overseas talent. If you meet their requirement you can get a working permit and HK ID

I'm really interested in learning about what it takes to become a pilot. In your free time, could you go over the type of educational requirements, years of additional training beyond college, and the the ladder of rankings?

Is a F/O the same as a co-pilot? And are the Jetblue A320s considered large (>12,500 lbs at takeoff) or small jets (<12,500 lbs at takeoff)?
