This guy lol... at least bullshit an explanation. At least I would think that you have a little bit of creativity instead of just hiding behind the routine of restating my stuff and act like you are better than that. That just proves to me why you are a little bitch. Tell me i got it twisted, well get off that high horse because it proves to me you are nothing but a damn poser. As for the homophobic comments i'm sorry if it offends you.:riaa: But anyways until i hear some logical explanation about REAL simulation this is my last comment regarding your "son" argument.

  4. So i just took a look at LFS screenshots, i am less than impressed.....

    Graphics:

    Physics:

wait, i have to pay double for better physics to a sim? i thought if i played a sim the physics should mock real life, Real Sim = Pay for Physics

As opposed to me using my psychic mind in other racing games?

You also speak of Arcade elements, like what? Missions to unlock cars? Providing some sort of goal for the player aside from finishing first in races? Or are you saying we should be given all the cars up front so all we do is drive the car in game? oh and to better sim real life maybe they should also provide us with an engine block, wrenches, sockets and pressure guns for when we need to tune a car instead of drop down menus that do magic.

Nah that is no fun, i just want to hit buttons on my steering wheel/keyboard, and stare at a screen that has literally zero Gs of force? ever think the way these games works isn't the car moving forward but the map moving around the car? something to think about.

honestly, all you have preached for 3 pages is how GT5 isn't great at all cause LFS and other racing sims are much better. Check your ego at the door cause in the end all the real sims you driving in this day and age will never, never, and ONCE AGAIN never mimic real driving cars as even the 1st person view is yet to be accurate, i dont remember when i didn't have to tilt my head to the right to see my passenger side mirror when driving down the highway going 70mph.

I've read that GT5 has compatibility issues with the G25 and G27 but they're working on fixing it. I use the Driving Force Pro and it's pretty awesome.
Yep and yep. I actually have enough to buy another one and mod the piss out of it but I need an LM or GT car for one of the races. :punk:

should work fine, but there is no specific set up options for the G27 so you'll have to fiddle around with it till you set it up how you like.

Also Patch today = + Mechanical damage.

Looks like Gran Turismo 5 getting some upcoming patching, giving standard cars premium treatment with higher polygon detail and cockpit view.

i use the G27 and I can confirm that it is compatible with the game (paddle shift, shift indicator lights, clutch). The only problem people have been saying is there isn't a G27 icon in the wheel setup menu for mapping your own custom buttons, BUT you can just use the Driving Force GT icon and customize your buttons just fine.

Logitech's license with Polyphony Digital is up! They have a new wheel from Thrustmaster, but that shit cost like $600 retail.

500 euro... way more than a fanatec GT3 and G25/27... i dont think that will be selling much.

It's a premium stick. People with jobs and like it enough will buy them. Little kids won't.

imo people who are that serious already have G25/G27/GTR3's.. i dont think they will put those aside and buy this that does nothing extra and probably aint as good. all its got is the inverted pedals which is cool but you can do that yourself with a little modding with the existing wheels.. but time will tell.

A LOT of people have the G25/G27 wheel. You'd be surprised. Racing games are pretty popular. And there's tons of other games these wheels work for anyway. It's a good investment if you play these a lot. A lot of people have been buying joysticks to play fighting games lately and nobody is stopping them from throwing down $150-300 for one as an example. But the thrustmaster wheel is pretty pricey. I could justify it if I had a man cave with a cockpit setup and other stuff. It just won't feel right if you're using it clamped to a desk on a small LCD monitor ya know

yup i agree, yeah at that price you should get a decent cockpit to compliment it.
