Not England nor Scotland. A hint: A Sillicon Valley in Europe (That's it for now! I'll be back later on)
Yup, it's Talinn! It's also called the Silicon Valley of the Baltic Sea and the Estonian government took down a statue of a Sovjet soldier a few days ago and it sparked riots because the Russians are against it. To the Estonians this statue is a symbol of Russian oppressure. Just read that Estonia had shut down their embassy in Moscow. And it's a surprisingly modern city, the people and the geographic characters resembles more like Germans/Germany than other Eastern European countries.
Yes in 2004, but I only went to the old town and have seen a little bit of the new town which looked just like any other European city town. It was close to Helsinki so my best friend and I thought we could as well pop over to Talinn while we where there. I miss their roasted honey almonds although the girls who where selling them claimed it was not the same as the normal almonds. That raosted honey almond stand was FULL with bees flying around! I didn't even dare to get closer to the stand.
