http://www.guu-izakaya.com/ http://guu-izakaya.com/toronto/ They are really popular and include long line-ups for a table at the restaurant during dinner time. I have friends who waited over an hour for a table. They operate in Vancouver with 6 locations, Toronto with 2 locations, and China with 1 location. It is the spot to be and the menu is different in each GUU. you can check out the website for the menu. Anyways, the atmosphere is unique and the GUU on robson was amazing. The waiter/waitress yells out the orders to the cooks which is different from any other restaurant. And ofcourse there are cute Japanese waitress during weekends . Anyways they have a lof of Japanese eats and alcohol and you have to try it out. Who's been to a GUU? which one? talk about your experience
Me! The one on Church and Carlton? Pretty lively in there, love the atmosphere. Tho the wait is kinda long. Even went early to reserve my name! @_@
