i dont think thats true, alot of guys find smart girls attractive. maybe the guys who like stupid girls are pretty dumb themselves
Who doesn't want a smart girlfriend? smart and intelligent is 2 different things. I prefer girls to have higher EQ than IQ, and as long as a guy does not find a gf that she expects more than he can gives...
i have alot of friends who dates gals who are smarter then them, and I got some that are the opposite..lol i think it all depends on that person and for my opinion, there's a mix going..

if i was forced to choose i'd go for the intelligent one; but honestly, smart or not so smart, it isnt a big factor.
Most guys I know, even though they say they would rather date a smart girl than a less bright girl, they do not display the type of tolerance to being challenged. So I guess they like smart girls so long as the girls are not smarter than themselves. And girls who know more about "manly" subject such as cars or computers or math? Most guys won't like to date them because their masculinity may be challenged in a HUGE way >.<
smart gal is good also,at least when u out of idea of something she can help u out,althought less smart gal will act more cute cos smart gal often very rasional n is kinda boring,but both also nice as long as u got the feel
There are guys that are like that tooo...why can't guys have both packages? Look around....there are nerds who know how to party and keep up their grades at the same time! so in a sense..not all nerds are like that.
I find smart girls much easier to converse with because you dont have to explain things as much... so i would say i am much more attracted to a smart girl than a "dumb" one...
dun use dumb,kinda "bad" cos they r just less smart,these kind of gal often like to act cute and innocent which sometime is quite sweet but over do it is kinda annoying.while gal who is too smart won't do such thing where u gonna feel kinda boring although it's nice that u never need to explain 10 times the same thing ^_^ ;overall choose the gal u love not the gal who is smarter or less smart...
it probably depends on both girls and boys cuz the boy might like smart girls and smart girls might be real smart in school but out of school egg pplz houses on halloween and stuff =] like me? lol
ah, now theres a difference between "smart" and "intelligent" lol i like a "smart" and "intelligent" girl and if shes creative and cunning, more points for her haha
