I guess it varies a lot depending on where you live then. Where I live, personal statements account for a huge percentage in determining whether or not you get into the uni of your choice. "pointless crap" certainly isn't something you'd want to write about.
her personal statement isnt for university lol..it's for her second year of 6th form(or highschool) so it isnt for something so important =) obviously..if it was, i wouldnt encourage it
Oh, oops. I misinterpreted your message then. I guess I'm not very familiar with your schooling system, because the only personal statement we have to write here is the one we send when applying for colleges.
Yeh i think it is for her application to uni, i thought her school just wants them to be very very prepared so they told her to do it early....... i dunno-unsure the only persoanl statement i had to do was for my uni application too

you dont start submitting for ucas till october, unless your going oxford/cambridge or doing medicine and law..i think..cant remember..it should be on the ucas site =p like i said just write any crap lol, coz it's not as important as when you DO need it for ucas..around that time you should be panicking more?
