    i eat thailand rice called "3 Luk" back then it was really cheap, recently its $22.30 a medium bag :'(

    Jasmine rice $16 CDN for 18lbs, if is more expensive in the future, we shall change for Sweet Potato and Potato :eat:

    price doubled now in montreal. they even post a sign in Loblaws explaining why they raised the price

    I think its like $30+ for a 50lb of jasmine rice in california now. my parents stocked up before the rise in rice prices so we have like a year supply of rice in the house.

    Ye, my parents dont buy so many as they used to. Tend to shop for the smaller supermarket brands.

    yeah thats the exact same thing that happened to me, when i got back home i heard that my mum went wing yip and bought loads of rice. they were lined along the hallway LOL!

    lol i'm laffing at everyone that stocked at the peak of prices... i'm telling u we won't have food shortages here... we burn excess food ffs :p

    lol its dropped a bit, maybe coz no one was buying so they had to lower the price of rice :p
