hating uni!

I'm in University right now, and I also hate it. Not that I hate learning or anything like that. But I hate the school itself. @!#% the people at my school suck. Grr. And my school is ranked the worst in my country, to make things even worse.

I'm regretting not applying to an Ivy League school.... :(

My brain is rotting in this s*** school and city. Argh.

 

if you do well in that year you can change to another uni, if you really wanted to. If you hate school altogether, you dont have to continue to study. You can even take a gap year and relieve yourself from it....

 

Worst school in country to Ivy League? That's a pretty big difference. I agree with Nervios. If you don't like where you're currently at, you could always switch schools. Why did you end up going some where you don't like anyway?

 

i hate how we have to study all the time and im a procrastinator, i admire those who can have like 4.0, work and be in a bunch of clubs

 

well im in my first year of uni and finished my first semester and I am enjoying it... The work is hard and thats the bit that sucks, but luckily i have made good friends and i knew a few people from high school who came to the same uni as me

If uni sucks that much change unis and make a fresh start (if you can afford it.. i cant lol), try and make some good mates, that will help

I've just finished my uni degree. I used to hate uni and its assessment and exams. But I do miss i though. I miss the people interation and freedom. At least the people are more genuine.

The gradutation is worth it. The accomplished feeling when you're on the stage. So hang in there and enjoy it while you can cos work life is really different.

 

I think you need to socialize and get some friends. After it's all over, you'll want to remember that you had friends and a good time.

 

Need to start getting into the school mode......... (real school) have to try @uni's

unlike high school.

 

I start uni on the 12, and i am excited as. Although, i hear that rote learning is no longer an option, which is a method that i relied on a lot in high school lol.

 

try to study then play...if u think ur anti-social..join clubs! i hope ur gonna end up enjoying uni soon cuz after all..ur paying for ur education (arent u?)

 

I am in 2nd year of my university life. Nothing really special abt it just studying most of the time and go out drinking in the weekend or free time.

 

^ yeh thats all uni involves, work-drink-sleep (maybe eating occasionally)

 

i think uni is crap...im not liking it myself...so much readings to do...
sometimes i wished i went to college instead...save me money and time to get to school...

 

i didnt do well first year, cuase i lived on rez and got lazy...but its a big adjustment, with all the reading and independent learning stuff..so different from high school..or my school was really crappy at preparing us for uni

 

lol isn't that what university is all about.. ya either studyin' hard or you're out partying and gettin' drunk...

 

or the millions of dollars you may not be makin'...

 

which would mean going to uni is pure risk... are you willing to take the chance? if your fam. is really poor and can barely get by..
