wow...u guys sure r lucky to meet a celeb or even more. i have yet to meet a celeb. i've seen singers (from concerts) but not celebs.
Wow, I can't believe I didn't see this thread... So totally worth mentioning. *Checks date of last post* Ah ha, that's why. But anyways, so I've met Joey Yung a few years back at the HKG, Ang Lee, Tony Leung and Tang Wei at the North American premier of Lust Caution. As for Western celebrities, I've seen James Blunt (he look absolutely ordinary), Sarah Polley (super tiny), Cate Blanchette, Clive Owen, Geoffrey Rush, Viggo Mortensen, Naomi Watts, Vincent Cassel, David Cronenberg (if he counts as celebrity -tongue2)
celebrities are just normal people who happen to be in a career of acting on screen and so with that comes the fame. when they're on break or traveling somewhere they're not obligated to be nice to anybody. how would you react if a total stranger came up to you and asked you to take pictures with them? i don't know how i'd react but i think that would be one aspect of fame that would take some time adjusting to.
eason chan i didnt get to talk to him but i shook his hand during his concert in 06...i was really happy...haha
Ran into Jacky Cheung in NYC once. He was walking around West Village with his girl. She was hot looking while his face was full of pimple scars....lol Got his autograph and then left.
