Ever seen Seinfeld? When this happened to George he was stressed out all the time at work and because everytime he felt constantly under pressure to be funny and charming from seeing his g/f so frequently, he spent most of the day writing material in preparation. And then when they broke up he had no option but to quit to avoid the awkwardness.

that's ok .. office relationship is getting a bad rep cuz of a few bitches .. lol

bottom line, go with your heart .. lol .. just remember that all our action has its consequences .. good or bad.

  4. well... if u really like that person in your office i guess it's really hard to control yourself... but maybe you have all these feelings for this person coz you're always trapped in the same office with him/her... a bit like having a crush on that person in your class back in high school... and you get over it after a few weeks...

if the feelings are serious then maybe consider transferring to another department :p

I don't know about others but certainly not me. If I like someone, I'll ask that person out ... CRUSH .. NO NO NO .. that's reserved for LOSER .. lol I have my fair share of rejections but you know what, regardless of whether things will pan out or not, at least you follow your heart and know the answer. Basically, I either like you or don't like you .. I don't develop "feeling" over time like you say .. again, perhaps others. It's a guy thing .. lol

  6. lucky u don't have to worry about that anymore :p

yeah i know but guess what .. just cuz i don't ask ppl out anymore, doesn't mean i won't get tailed by others ..lol... you heard, GAY DUDES are hitting me left and right at the gym .. so much that gals there think I am one of them too .. sigh.

  8. it's ok la... that's the gym... not the office lol... at least your wife won't chuck a tantrum at you for getting hit on by gay men :p

^ very funny .. but yeah, she laughed at it too .. there are guys who go as far as putting sticky post with their numbers into my locker .. crazy ..

at work, i was kissed by the female colleague .. i left the com and now with a new com so i make sure to stay clear .. lol .. not cuz i don't believe in office relationship .. just that i am married .. lol

  10. oh yeah... i remember that post... that was before your wife got pregnant right??

i thought it was no biggie but most ppl thought different :p

no,i won't advise you to do so .My parents work together and it's really 'difficult' sometimes,it also depends on one's personality(whether he's jealous, etc)

If you think the other half is worth the grief as you will get loads....personally I went for it, and I have been happily married for 13 years!!

Now that we are married, no, we could not work together :)

  15. Company disclosure to specify if you are having a relationship within the office. If not then breach of contract...not cool. If there isn't one, i would still suggest not to because if it goes sour, then it's hard to work under those conditions.

  16. i guess most people were thinking in your wife's perspective... and they all know about the kiss therefore most of them think you should come clean... but they forgot that your wife didn't know about it...

honestly if i knew my hubby kissed another woman i'd be very upset... it happened to me before and i can tell you i rather he didn't tell me about it... especially when it's only a one off thing... the confession only made him feel better and me felt worse...

i've never had an office relatioship before... hmmm... but i did have a few dates with my manager during my student days and it wasn't nice with everyone gossiping around u...

i think it really depends on whom the person is, for eg. if it was jz a colleague that was on working in the same company but diff department then that would be ok but preferably not with someone that's either your immediate boss or in your team unless you're sure u wld be able to handle 'both work and he relationship at once.

even rumours around work about me and this guy got me really annoyed =/

and if i see them everyday + at work.. i dont think i'd have anything interesting to talk about .. besides maybe a few complaints from work here and there o_O?

  20. it was a part time job during high school... there's no promotion... although i did get a raise lol... but i'm pretty sure it's because of my hard work -tongue2
