It's a tough call, in terms of plot and all they're both pretty good, but they both got their annoying parts. Like in the first one they've got Bow Bow and Duk Duk Dey doing the annoying laugh and in this one they have an oddies karaoke every now and then.
I liked HOG better. They seemed more realistic, less dramatic. Some of the parts in MR made me go, "this is not possible!"
I have to agree, at least there was some sort of plot and the relationship weren't as messy as it is in this one. Overrated.
I like the first one better, I'm watching it again Moses was the main character in the first one, he's funny as hell. Raymond is the main character in the second one, he's not bad, but Moses >>> Raymond
both of them are good in different ways...i personally like MR more, the plot is interesting and very intense; however i think the ending was a bit of a rush,.....for HOG, i think there are many unnecessary scenes in HOG beside linda's love triangle
i think the first half of this one was better...but overall HOG 1 wins as it's way more realistic and the relationships aren't tangled up in webs like this one.
HOG was better, the story was a "single" one, while MR was more like a sitcom with so many loopholes that was laughable, but HOG had one of the worst endig for a serie.
i found the 2nd one to be much better for me...better storyline although raymond was disappointing :(
