It may be possible that your parents know from experience of life what's good for you! I trust your parents can make good judgment and read the subtle signals of characters? So do not discredit all they say, there may be some truth and practical reality.
Assuming he is a person of good character (besides annoying you) and he's the type tha girls would want and also say if your parent were right. If there's were no feelings or interest in him then don't bother with it haha I'm not really saying he's too good for you.. I was just teasing. What I really mean is that even if his heart and mind were in right order, he might be giving it to the wrong person. haha I can't believe you sat down and replied everyone!!
Wow Mint_T certainly took the time to reply! -clapclap So he has no sense of humour either huh? I already pity the girl who ever marries this guy. (or she must be desperate and has no sense of humour either...) That's well said Kenshi!
Well, if your parents are pressuring you to try then you might aswell do one date. I know it can be awkward since he anoys you like hell, but if it would get your parents off your back and let him have some kind of brief satisfaction then so be it. You really need to sit him down and tell him that he's not your cuppa coffee. Simple as that. Being harsh as it is, you gotta tell him one way or another. You could introduce some of your friends to take him instead ¬_¬
Argh! One thing.. don't lead him on. Tell him to his face.. come on so wat if he cries a few weeks.. its better than leading him on to no where. Now because this topic got mention about "nice guys" hahaha... in all jerks win!!
-shock u read my mind about the next move. Make sure his head is turned and make a loud fart sound. Like BBBBBooootttttt Then start talking about farts Oh yea. he might be psycho...better not-rolleyes
