I didn't finish Tiger Cubs (yes i know i'm slow) but I'm pretty sure they just brought their characters over to this drama but not the storyline. Quite like this series. Felt bad for Ella though :(. Good idea to have a spin-off though of the 4 Tiger Cubs cameo cast x some HnL cast. Would seem interesting. But too many stars in 1 drama? LOL
Probably, like you said there are no direct link between the storyline but a special guest star. Yeah shame Ella and Raymond didn't end up together, from the ending it appears that Raymond no longer work but busy raising that child of Ben/Kate. Tiger cubs has lots of stars and that was a success, I can see it work, just depends on the casts, they may not like it for the fact that some may not get enough screen time.
Spoiler: Last Episode I think maybe too many people died in a span of the finale. Should have spanned it out into 3-4 episodes and not 2. You can say it might be a bit rushed. But overall, I didn't find it too bad. Definitely not a happy ending (which I like) but sad ending? Not 100%. Good drama though! Jazz was good; MC Jin was good. Ella was good!
- seriously.. a bomb between the drugs? and no one bothered to scan it before putting it into the vault? - lol @ ar pat getting shot while holding a shot gun and doing nothing with it - why would poon sir give a shit about "his" baby and ar pat's? - why is sandy holding her arm when she was shot in her chest - ok.. this is weird, wtf were the SDU doing at NB? one of them died in the other show.... if this is pre-SDU, then he would still be alive, BUT they didn't know each other before SDU, so wtf? sigh.. tvb scriptwriting at its "best".
Again, they just brought their characters over. Nothing to do with the Tiger Cubs storyline other than their names really.

The ending scene with the new crew, Sandy said something about meeting Happy Sir at the crime scene. - Not sure which bomb scene, but Poon just wants to get hold of all the drugs. I think they did scan it. - Poon shot Pat. She was too weak to shoot back. - Poon's baby. It's ok to care for a bit. -I think Sandy got shot near the shoulder.
there was something that "exploded" between the coke, if it was scanned, i doubt it would've been there. sandy got shot in her left chest, near the shoulder indeed. it doesn't make you hold your arm when you're driving a car.
Another lackluster ending to a tvb series. What else is new. They always rush the final 2 or 3 episodes.
Yup, I watched that part again. I thought it was between the coke too. The bomb was actually inside one of the packages. I don't think it was a mistake that Sandy was holding her arm. At the scene of the chase, she was looking at her wound that was bleeding near her shoulder, while holding her arm.
3 Gor&Ah Pat :( Ben was a very smart villain...Lat Geung 2.0 the show started out well and then went stale but finished off nicely ...other than the deaths+tiger cubs plug Ah Pat was the best and most interesting character...Kate did well in this! should get some TVB Queen nods! Ella looked good but her character was boring she only a little bit better than 3 Gor's Wife (Madam) Lol.
the 4 guys from tiger cubs appeared was a fun crossover, since the same producer produced this drama and that drama. i really liked this drama despite all the pokey parts. it's a good show. Kate Tsui definitely made me change my mind about her acting. Usually she does nothing but trying to look sexy. This time I definitely see efforts and acting involved! Same with MC Jin, his accent improved a lot. And also Raymond, no more always chok chok. 3 gor so hot XD
yeah, i was expecting to see abit more from ella's character. but 3gor and fung gor chok yeung are all natural. haha! XD
just like the name this series was high and low. the main plot line seemed pretty decent but some of the love story dragged on for ages. never watching a raymond+kate series again.
still can't admit Kate did a good job? LF started the series well... but when he hurt his back he went from happi to mean all his expressions seems a bit exaggerated.
