Use a proxy server located in HK / China (for example http://www.xroxy.com/proxy-country-HK.htm ... they also have a premium service) or use something like IpSharkk Premium Version (www.ipsharkk.com) ... note that I have no experience with IpSharkk, so try it on your own risk. I managed to stream the news channel once using a proxy server, but then it stopped working. Your TVB Jade HD and TVB J2 did not work at all for me though.

These are really great detailed instructions on finding HK proxies. Thanks boy7404 and Phantoman for all your contributions and hard work.
I want to say a big thank you to boy7404 and Phantoman for their continue support of this thread. Now I did all the direction and I am getting this image Is working for tvb news using above method but for TVB programs/shows/series is showing this picture. Is there a way to make TVB think I am in HK so to bypass their rule of blocking other countries
You find proxies Hong Kong of Port 9415 is the only one that works, in addition to port 9415 port 3128 and port 65208 for example, is not working even though you found a proxy of Hong kong if you finish typing you can check the site http://www.google.com Google site will then automatically transferred to that country by proxy page typed
This is a bit off-topic, but was looking into 3tv and wonder what the difference is between the "share user" version and the "official" paid version? Many thanks
Why don't we pay a private Hong Kong proxy? It would be close to this forum members. The problem is I don't know a good HK proxy.
^ I jacked your picture JoeyMan. But back on topic. Like for mini series like 'The Session', it's easier if i streamed it off their site. but the only way is to find a proxy to 'bypass' this message?
I tried the working 9415 port but it just won't stream recorded video. U can test this link with your working 9415 and see if U see the same message? http://mytv.tvb.com/music/jsg/110656/1277#page-1 Trying to get some MTV from TVB for project karaoke hope U guy can help.
See my previous message, they have a premium service where you can pay for a non-public proxy. Another option is to use a VPN connection like http://orientalvpn.com/ or https://www.overplay.net/ . I do not have experience with any of these services, so try them on your own risk. @Joey: I used one of the proxies (Distorting type) from the link in my previous message and I do not get the message about the country anymore, but it times out since the connection is too slow. The free version is useless. If I recall the channels keep switching automatically every few minutes/seconds. Well the question is whether 1 account will work for a few hundred people. Looking at the amount of times this thread has been viewed, I wouldn't be surprised if we are talking of even more than a few hundred (yes, you leechers!!! ... you know who you are). I don't think an account at any of the proxy/vpn services is that expensive, so we should be able to pay for them individually ... well ok ... easy for me to say since I have a job and all, but otherwise beg your parents
I've been testing http://orientalvpn.com/ (thanks Phantoman) for 3 days. Pros: - fast; - easy to use; - you will be able to watch TVB online; - cheap (10 dollars / month); Cons: - Saturday, I had to wait few minutes to connect; - You can connect only one computer at the same time;
I forgot to say... You can ask them for a free 3-days trial. Today is my fourth day and it is still working.
