Boys and girls, is BETV crashing all the time for you as well ? I have about 5 BETV sessions open concurrently and they keep crashing (disappearing) all the time. I'm streaming the channels using XBMC on my HTPC using the method that I mentioned in one of my previous messages. I'm also using Sandboxie to open more than 1 session at the same time, this isolates each session thus preventing BETV to detect that it is running multiple times.
Sure. So first of all BUY Sandboxie and create a few sandboxes. Then start one BETV per sandbox. Each sandbox will be independant from the other sandboxes, so BETV will not know that it is already running. Then if you want to stream from another media player like VLC player (or some other HTPC media player like XBMC), then these are the ports that BETV will listen on in chronological order: 8902, 8903, 8905, 8907, 28901. This is similar to SopCast. You can use a utility called CurrPorts to find the ports if needed. I have no clue about Mac, but keep in mind that BETV is based on SopCast Check out this vid, it might help: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Cf8Y9XuDOQ . Otherwise search for "Sopcast Mac" in Google for a few other articles. Thanks for confirming. I thought it was happening due to Sandboxie or multiple occurrences of BETV.
I don't have an iphone, so I have no idea. taxidriverhk did provide a few steps on how to record BETV channels using VLC player though (see here). Re-streaming is quite similar.
anyone else notice that the TVB channel has a delayed sound relative to the radio? By very little, maybe just 1 sec but kinda annoying
Hi, I just registred on this forum and want to ask how BeTV works? I can't get it started, it keeps counting to 0 and then starts over the counting. I have made some screenies: First the counting after it has counted down to 0 this comes up and after a few seconds it starts over again the counting =.= And if I try to push the button the second image will show up and the counting starts again.
There are 2 possibilities: 1) Your internet connection is off 2) Your firewall just blocked this application
