I using FIOS too. What browser are you using? I would try clearing your cookies, cache and temp internet files within your browser.
I'm using Internet Exploer 8, what do you use? Already tried clearing the cookies. I'll try clearing the cache and temp internet files tonight, and maybe give Chrome a try also.
The channels do not work from the WLTV client either, so there is no way to get the direct links from it. If someone finds a working WLTV client, then let me know. @slaser and dreamer66, the first link does not show me Guangdong Sports and the second link doesn't even work for me. Ok, let me do a search as well and see if I can find anything with better quality.
slaser, Chrome seems to be the answer. I've logged on and off multiple times tonight with your first link (http://www.topway.cn/livetv/livetv.jsp?cid=336a788bc3aabae359ec4d2ae6e60219) with no problem, so far. Just hope it continues. Your second link, however, still doesn't work. But, I'm happy as long as one of them works. Now I'm curious to find out why Internet Explorer has the problem.
It appears the first link works in Chrome or Firefox but not Internet Explorer. The second link is hit or miss. I tried it last night and it was a black screen, this morning it is working again.
Phantoman, as I posted earlier, I had so much problem with Guangdong Sports using Internet Explorer the last couple of days. After I switched to Chrome, the problem seems gone. So, you can give it a try.
Just an update about the upcoming new HK public channel, City Telecom. They hold a ceremony about the TV channel project. Below are the important details: The channels are going to be on air on 1 October this year. I hope there will be streams of these channels. More entertainment for the Cantonese people overseas.
Thanks Phantoman!! They work great!! What's your secret in finding these channels? I have been trying for a while and no luck. Well, thanks again, really appreciate all your time and effort.
hmm.. sopcast doesn't have a MAC installation, but it seems some ppl got this to work anyway. check this link. http://fionaangelina.com/2011/08/13/online-streaming-using-sopcast-on-mac-os-x/
Not sure, at least one, but maybe more in the future? I think we will know more about it when the launch date is approaching. Of course, the HK government still need to approve the plan for more public channel providers.
Yep, somehow works with Chrome. Don't ask me why. I'll see if I can get a direct link from it at some point. Google is the secret, honestly You just need to take the time to sift through all the garbage. See my post here about WLTV.
Oh noooo, Apple fanboys in my thread!!! Just kidding Last time I saw SopCast Lite on an iPad it had some sound delay issues (picture was ahead of sound), so that has been fixed ?
