Don't even think about going to Hk Disneyland, it sucks. You should check out the food show on the DL section, you'll sure to find some good places to eat and play.
LOL... no I don't work for Ziplock bags, ha ha. However, if you keep your money or documents in an inner secret wallet, they tend to get moist with sweat over time. The zippies help to prevent them from getting wet. And no, HK crime isn't all that bad. However, it pays to be prepared for the one in a thousand chance... -unsure Oh, and BTW, for anyone traveling, you should photo copy all your documents. They won't be legal (to use in place of the real ones) per se, but they will help you identify yourself to your embassy or consulate, making re-issue or replacement documents easier to come by, if lost or stolen.
you should dress very lightly if you are going to spend some time in HK during the summer as it gets REALLY hot. i just got back from there, and places to go are mongkok for the shopping and food (lots of street vendors and food), elements in kowloon, times square, sogo and the whole collection of shopping malls in causeway bay are great. central is great for name brand fare and american style food if you are missing it
I'd say. I remember one minute it was bright and sunny, and about two minutes later it was like I was standing in the shower. So either bring a pop up umbrella... or soap.
yeah hehe ~ i remember i woke up and went to "bai san" and there were loads of people queuing and it was bright and sunny, so i just woke jeans and a white T-shirt and thats it. it was fine until 2pm and it bloody rained heavy and i mean proper heavy, something which i havent experience ever especially in RAINY ENGLAND. it was chucking it down and i was completely soaked >.< terrible just terrible, went home and i swear i made a puddles inside the building blocks i was living in, as i getting home.
haha are ya sure....ya seem to be ubbbber fond of the ziplock bags... almost as good as sliced bread for you...-lol if ya that worried about stuff covered in sweat why dun ya put it in them 'bum bags' that men like to wear like these...hahahaha... photocopies of docs. doesnt matter la...they dun accept them anyways.... i remember i got stopped by the popo's before for running through traffic lights and i was in the middle of doing my id card so only had photocopies and they wouldnt accept it....but they let me off and told me to cross more carefully ^^
it good for shopping, every corner you turn it will be a shopping center... I don't recommand Disney Land.. it will be pack and need to wait about 2 hours at least to play the next ride...
Maybe because i live in a cold weathered country but summervacation in hongkong was really hard for me, first i have to get used to everywhere is chinese and its pretty humid in the summer, almost cant breath and i sweat like a waterfall. whats u surely have to do in hk is for the food , shopping and sightseeing. i met a few beautyful girls too in tsim sa tsui
Lucky you ! Really miss Hong Kong, although I just visited it like 3 months ago ! I think the food is great and I really love the energy.
Just back from a recent 3 weeks trip to HK,, if you want to take the tourist route why not visit the "Avenue of stars" in TST, take the ferry across the habour, and the must take the cable car up to "the Peak" Another thing,, depending on your age but between Disney land or Ocean Park,, Ocean Park is the choice...!
my sister went to hk 2 weeks ago... she will come next week x) im waitin for my presents ~~~ hoRrr hoRrr
