Thanks Peachey... for all the pictures! Agreed. You know Hu Ge actually tried out for the "Yeung Guo" role, but in the end they accepted HXM instead. I don't know, I think HXM makes a better YG, but HG would have matched more with LIu Yi Fei. Then again, people might get bored of seeing the 2 of them playing as couple AGAIN. -shrug And yeah I think a lot of people like the ROCH version with Louis Koo and Carmen Lee the best. And don't forget Ruby Lin! More of Yang Mi in ancient costume
Correct me if I'm wrong but isnt Ruby Lin a Taiwanese actress. She's born in Taipei. Nice try Mint T. lol
Yes, Ruby Lin is Taiwanese, and even though she's popular, her status is still no where near that of Vicki's. Why do you think in all (if not most) of their series together, Ruby is always casted as the underdog? I have no problems with this as I think Vicki is the better actor anyway. Zhou Xun, in the beginning, was actually considered to play the part of XLN alongside HZM. I don't know how or why they decided to cast LYF instead. I guess it was because of her looks, but I think ZX would have made a much better match with HXM, even though she may not be as attractive as LYF. I haven't seen the ROCH adaptation with Richie Ren, but I don't even like this guy to start off with. No offence to any of his fans or anything, but I find him to be so annoying in almost every movie he's appeared in. He's not even attractive looking, yet for some reason they keep casting him in these pimp roles (i.e. Chor Lau Heung, Huang Fei Hong). As with Rain, I agree with Peachey... the boy should just stick with his teen idol dramas. But I'm not worried because I think Louis Cha has better taste than that? Oh, and I don't like Zhang Ziyi either. She may be hot but she has one hell of an attitude. A cousin of mine was at a dinner party about a year ago in NYC and one of the guests just happened to work at the Tribeca Grand Hotel on Church & Walker. ZZ stayed there when she was in town doing promotional work for some beauty product. Apparently she was cold, imperious and had her nose so high up in the air she was in serious danger of getting altitude sickness. NYC is not a place to be pulling this type of diva crap, especially when you’re not exactly well known and other major stars who’ve stayed at the hotel have been gracious and friendly with staff. Honestly, she isn't a bad actress but her off-screen personality is what I dislike about her. She's been rude to Andy Lau in public, in front of all the reporters and press in one of the press conferences for House of Flying Daggers in HK (or was it China? somewhere over there). They were being seated, & Andy was just being polite and held her hand... like leading her to the seat. She literally flung his hand off before everyone's eyes. It was caught on cameras and made it to the gossip magazines. She reminds me so much of J-Lo. She has the same attitude as J Lo. Basically, the girl needs to go to "AA" (Attitude Adjustment) and be brought down several pegs.
