Well if your a girl, I think its easier and if the guy has a thing for you too but was too shy to tell you, he'll be thanking you lol. For the really shy guys its very difficult to do that. We need to first build up the confidence (this may take awhile) but by that time, the girl maybe taken which sucks. Speaking from a guy's point of view, if I don't like someone I'll just tell them right off the bat or at least give them a good hint. Your not doing the person a favour by not telling them your not interested in them in the beginning and playing with their heart and leading them on thinking they have a chance only to hurt them in the long run. Its much painful to find out later then in the beginning. Trust me, I've been through this.
