If he really annoys, tell him that and to lay off if he cant stop. Then wait and see what he'll do after. If he changes his manner, then you are pretty sure that he likes you.
i told him to stop stealing my french fries & he kept taking. and once he even let me pinch & twist his flesh around & the next day it turned purple. >.<
Seems like he really likes you. Now, you need to figure out if you are "really" annoyed about him or not.

When he "annoys" you, do you somewhat appreciate the attention that he gives you? When your friends say that he likes you, what are your reactions to it, denial or half wish that it was true? And you mentioned "its comfortable", so it does seem that you do at least have "a little" something for him. Back to my earlier post, if you are only annoyed about him, you won't be asking "how do you know when you like a guy". I think he is somewhat successful on his quest of trying to get himself accepted by you.
i do deny it. i just say "no he doesn't." because i heard he likes some other girl, but like i'm not even sure. and i admit i do half wish it was true. but i don't tell my friends this. and. aren't most boys annoying? and dont some of them like to be the center of attention?
Question # 2 solved, you do feel for the guy. Now, its back to question 1, you mentioned that he only annoys you among your group of friends. Why not try to sit somewhere else next week by yourself and see whether he would come looking for you or not. But my 2 cents is that he is trying to catch your attention because he likes you. Another way would be to bluntly ask him what is his purpose in doing so; if he gets all awkward and blushes, you can almost be sure that he's hooked on you. Disregardless the facts that yes, some guys try to be the center of attention but i do doubt it in his case.
well, he doesn't only annoy me. but like i feel like he's always picking on me and yeah. there was a time where i moved to another table because our lunchtable got taken over. & he happened to find me. but i'm not sure if it was because he liked me or maybe he just found me sitting there,coincidentally. also, there was this other time where my friend had lab class during lunch, so i had noone to walk to class with. i asked him if he could take me to my 2nd floor class & he actually took me there & waited with me until the bell rang. but it might be only because he considers me a good friend.
