My computer temperature is within this range 40-50 degrees celcius and I guess that's pretty normal. I tried to keep the temp down but having a good air ventilation around the area

On my Inspiron 6400 Laptop, the CPU temp is actually the lowest out of hard drive, graphics, memory, and chipset temperatures.
    At idle (in degrees C):
    CPU: 35
    Chipset: 45
    Memory: 50
    Hard drive: 45
    Graphics: 60

for a minute there, I thought the thread is about the computer type (brand)
I find the hot computers are:
    - alienware (awesome but expensive)
    - voodoo
    - vicous Pc (I can;t spell it right :)

computers that are on my shit list:
    - Dell (have to be on the phone all the time, always problems)
    - generic brands

    Peace.
