Looks aren´t important but it does matter a bit to everyone...I don´t think a guy would like an really really ugly girl with a lot of zips etc. (but someguys don´t care about that). But if people just put away the looks a bit and try to get to know that person better then the look won´t matter that much becuase liking a perosn´s personality would´ve make them much more beautiful. I´ve always heard from my family and friends that good-looking people (for example those like, Orlando Bloom, Louis Koo, Brad pitt) aren´t really nice guys and they´re only playing with you haha..but you´ll never know until you really get to know them.
I don't know about the other 2 guys, but I've heard many bad rumors about Louis Koo. I've heard that he has really bad manners, and he always falls for his co-stars (like Sammi, Jessica, Ada). I heard a rumor that Ada had rejected him when they were filming ATE II & he started spreading bad rumors about her. Not sure to what extent this is true... although I must admit that he's quite the looker.

Raymond Lam?? I don't the resemblance. Louis is much hotter. Raymond doesn't have that kind of sex appeal... Maybe people think they look alike because of their tan? Then again, a lot of Asian male celebs are tanned nowadays...

Yes, looks are very important to me. I often find myself comparing to others. I think plastic surgery is retarded though, unless you have valid reason to get it done. Otherwise, I think people should just deal with their 'ugliness' or use natural methods (ie. dieting or whatever) to attain their goals.
saw this pretty girl today while lining up for photo id but i was too shy to tlk to her..she was like rite beside me too..i tried not to look at her cause im really shy when it comes to hot girls i don't know...ahh i want her number now..i hope i work with her
Looks & personality are both equally important in selecting a significant other. I would not want an ugly significant other, or to wake up in the morning looking at someone who's ugly. However, I also want someone with a fabulous personality. Why limit ourselves to one or the other? We're all lying if we say looks are not important. It's the first thing we see in a person and it forms our first impression....of course it's important. But in order for that impression to last, there has to be a personality to back it up; otherwise as soon as you start interacting with that person, your impression of them falls apart. When I walk into a store in a suit & tie and well groomed, I get treated much differently than if I walked in with an undershirt, shorts, and flip flops, unshaven and hair uncombed. Looks aren't important? I don't think so....
Look is very important but sometimes only look won't attracts there is something more important than look and it's personality and the heart.
So I've been wondering... Is it possible that someone is so physically attractive that you either ignore or are oblivious to the fact that they are wrong for you, thus leaving me... um, other guys wondering what does it take to compete with handsome men? -huh Anyway, I think looks are very important. However, as you get to know a person, their personality makes them attractive to you if they weren't at the get go, so the looks become irrelevant. Problem is, breaking that first step can be a major obstacle. Some people don't give you a chance when they're not attracted to you to begin with, at least by my experience. Sad, but true.
i just have to say yea looks does play a big role HOWEVER, i have met some chicks who are good looking and hot but in the end there ain't much special about them. So far the best ones are the one who has a great personality. Those are the girls who are fun and happy most of the time and u can see it in their face, they are the ones that keeps the guys comming back
