Even if you are and the girl are together, the parents are most likely not going to let you two be together. I think that all Chinese parents wouldn't let their daughters be with someone outside their race. This incudes mine and it is pretty sad. Did she ever say that she likes you? If she didn't then she is just making a reason to reject you but just not direct.
I dont feel sorry for the dude to be hornest. There are already so much yellow fever spread around in north america, that one white dude fail at getting asian actually makes me happy. Hmm, can't help to post in this thread again, but when I somehow 'understand' why this Spanish guy falls in love with this China girl; there's a really LOT of them in Spain or at least in Barcelona working in the restaurants, tapas bars and cafe's! They all spoke Mando and some of them are pretty rude (well 2 in two different establishments) and my friends and I made sure one of them gets a heavy scolding by her boss because her manner of serving the plates was not normal (maybe she hates me because I'm an Asian who apparently can afford to go on holiday while she has to serve me?) and she let us wait a long time after we've requested for the check. I don't care if this will make her 'loss face' but I decided to walk up to the cashier check where a Spanish waiter was standing there but he couldn't help us because they all have their own keycard to open the cash machine. 3 waiters kept talking to us it will be ok, and they sounded nervously and annoyed when they talked with each other and looking in the back for that girl who went hiding somewhere in there. Bad sign if your customers are standing up from their table to pay. If the coincidence this was the girl our Spanish friend is talking about, he can be glad he don't have to share his life with her.
Ohhh, so that's what this is about. I saw this girl who was complaining to another girl at a bus stop in vancouver complaining how a guy from spain is chasing her. Don't think you have a chance.
