MC, Amex and Visa. Not too good to have so many cards, hurts your credit score and lower ur chances or getting mortgages...
Heyy do you guys have any store-cards..?!... I get so tempted to get them...and they always asking when you pay for things if you want one..and and and if you open up a acc....you get such and such discount yeshhh i know..i 'taam siu peen yee'....hahaha....but ive resisted and not got a store-card yetttt.....
i have 3 cc. one visa thats 1k, one mastercard thats 1.5k cause the commercial says its priceless, and another visa thats 25k. company cc only use it when needed and out of town for expense stuff. i rather not have more than 2 cause i messed up when i was younger.
I have a lot of credit cards before to establish my credit history but now, just two are enough. With identity theft left and right, it's on a safe side.
That's so wrong, my friend work as a mortgage broker at the bank, and he said the banks don't care about how many cards you have, its all about your ability to pay the debt.
1 chase/visa 1 bank/visa 1 bank/debt/visa 1 bank/debt/mastercard 1 macy's 1 victoria secret I believe in only spending money that you have and not really credit as in money you pay back later for me the credit cards are a way to build up credit, pay for things without having to have cash on hand or to carry coins around, and to get points towards gift certs or whatnot. only get one if you are a frequent visitor of the store, cuase they often send you special coupons. The thing is it will add an additional card to your wallet, something you have to monitor, and it does effect your credit rating (like every credit card you aquire your rating goes down a bit (at least for USA) but if you keep paying your cards on time than your rating will go up even more).
i only got 1, but im not rly using it except for when i need to buy something online, cause its rather unsafe nowadays, i got 1k limit, way enough tbh
and the more cards you have the less likely hood you will be able to pay off the loan.... and working at a register and seeing women pull out their purses and seeing about 16 credit cards in there and having to wait like a full 30 seconds for them to decide which one to use is quite disgusting.... >__< the beauty of having one? you pull it out and swipe ... done...
i have around 3 cards, but they are mainly from the bank that i use. I don't like the other ones well i don't prefer it mainly its hard to maintain. I think that its good enough. I think if u have one and its good limit, i think its the best way to go, because the more you have the more you spend.
i don't view it that way, if you have more on something and you will spend it, then you have a problem in the "management" side of it, this is a great opportunity to train yourself on something like that...and if you will spend on it, then you have to take your own responsibility
