    Fluently:

    1. English

    2. Cantonese (family is Canto)

    3. Mandarin (wife's family is Taiwanese & I took 12 yrs of Mandarin school)

    4. French (able to get around France & order food, and travel on my own; 4 yrs in High School)

    5. Spanish (use it at work daily, able to communicate w/o translator, but get my tenses wrong sometimes)

Do you guys actually speak and understand all the languages you list fluently? Or just know phrases & understand a little? I'm super impressed at those of you who list more than 4-5 languages.

I know phrases & understand bits of Korean & Japanese that I picked up from friends and took a year of each in college...

Yup, that's true. I for one fit that category (college). But 25-30 isn't that old either, especially if you don't have kids yet. Kids automatically make anyone seem old, even if they're still in their early twenties. -lol
