Damn there are still those girls out there who relies everything on their future partner!?!? Hope that guy has secured his money from future golddiggers and will only marry with a contract.

Well, considering that I don't need him to support me, as long as he's never in the red with his money I am alright...

I don't ask for him to pay for my keep, but the same would go for him, keeping to his own. @_@bbb

^ would that also apply when u get married?

Well, if the house is on both our names, I would expect most things to be 50/50...

The catch, to some guys, would be that he would have to do his share of the chores... I will only entertain him with 50% of the chores, but anymore he would have to do, or hire a maid with money from his own pocket.

Same goes for myself, if I want my partner to clean up after me, do all the houseworks and cook and all... I would provide financial support.

I am just looking for a fair deal, is all. :p

    ^Sounds fair enough. :D

    Fair is my aim... -innocent

But back to the question, it's not like I would feel more secure if he has a lot of money if he isn't the sharing type :p So I am asking for the bare minimum, so long as he doesn't need me to support him...

^ Seriously tho, i dont think money plays that much on whether a girl feels secure or not. I think its more like a stereotyped concept that girls will feel more secure if the guy has X amount of money.

    hiake Vardøgr of da E.Twin

That's true... But I guess the money is an indicator of financial independence which is easily quantified...

I mean, girls feel secure around a guy who's faithful, but faithful is not a quality stamped on the guy's forehead... so it's hard to tell :p

Being rich is not a virtue, but just a non-vice to me, if that analogy make sense...

Yea the analogy does make sense. Financially stable would be an extra brownie point on the guy's side but the "feministic" qualities of a guy eventually would be way more valuable.

    hiake Vardøgr of da E.Twin

LOL, feministic... I guess that is appropriate to describe those more qualitative quality (hmmm, that doesn't sound right but meh)

But I think being financially stable (or even rich) is an asset, not NECESSITY but it would be nice to have even though I don't expect him to pay for my keep... ;)

So true. Maybe now you can try finding a word to describe feministic for guys so that i dont sound like i was stereotyping. -clapclap

I feel that when 2 people are together, then there is no need to calculate everything so accurately like hiake does. I honestly think there is no such thing as complete fairness in a relationship. A relationship is about sharing, helping, and compromising. There is no point and no happiness if 2 people are together yet they do everything separately. I understand hiake's view in being fair, but I think a relationship cannot be calculated using fairness.

You got my vote for that...no point of him being rich if he is useless and selfish...If he used his money wisely ie investment then he is ambitious and thats a plus point...

Lastly, for those of you thats looking for a rich sugar mama, I guess you've gotta lower down ur standard to get a chick, I am very sure there are a lot of lonely loaded grannies out there....-whistle Just be a grave digger lolz
