hahaha. that was the total opposite for me. He approached me first. It was acquaintance > friends > bf. But really, I thought his friend was a better guy than him. All in all... Shouldn't you be focusing on your studies right now? Get all the learning, then a good job, and then earn tons of money and the girls will naturally come. ;P
well you need to first think are you just getting a girlfriend for the sake of having one and not wanting to be alone and are you ready to make this committment.
i think it is normal to have a gf? am i ask too much? I dont plan to marry her or she is my only one. i just want a good memorie atleast i can have a gf in my college time. I just want to experience it, even have a gf and break up in 1 week rather have none. Although i might get hurt but that is how life should be ..

kdotc is right. don't force a relationship, because you never know, the girl might not actually want to be with you, and you'll be even more disappointed in the end. That's what happened to me, and it made me think of relationships as something to avoid at all cost.

i know this situation... the funny things is maybe you know a girl aside of you that you NEVER thought of being your GF and suddenly you fall in love <3 but you need to choose things... if you now only focus trying to get a GF you will mess up your school... try to just to focus on school and maybe youll meet up a nice girl someday the grades doesnt fall out of the sky and GF's maybe does XD
maybe try to use hi5 or something like kdotc said. and search if theres a girl that live near to you. and maybe try to get in contact with her using msn or something. its a good way for ppl thats shy. (my english is not very good la ^^ xD) or go in disco with some friend , you ll sure meet a girl there but as a lot said , focus on school ^^. you ll find a girlfriend later sure^^. dont be depressed ga oil!!!
There are more ways to meet women than just in class. I've flirted with grocery clerk's before. Or do you not ever buy food? Ask one to help you pick out some oranges or something because the ones you bought before were too sour, etc. Starbucks is a decent place as well, or do you never buy coffee? Pick up some new interesting things to learn. I was playing volleyball recently and there were more girls than guys. Don't know how to dance? Want to learn? take a dance class! The girl to guy ratio is almost always in your favor. Knowing how to communicate with girls is not a one step process. When you encounter obstacles (such as where to meet women), you have to think of solutions that will get you closer in the direction, not a solution at the goal (because they don't exist, or are out of reach). So I'll answer your "How to get a gf" question with this: You won't, unless you learn how to be a better, smarter man.
