Oh yeah, HAHA. I just saw blue writing and asumed.. maybe if I edit they won't notice? ¬_¬ Kay, aren't you still doing that though. Really, I don't find friends I meet on the internet fake. 3 people whom I met on the internet, I eventually met in real life and became an important part of it. And lots of other peeps I know from the internet, I'd be a different person today if I didn't know them, I think.
You should be balling, I had like no internet action when I was in China for 2 months and it was great after the first few days. <_< After a long day, go get a massage, it's so good and cheap. Get a facial as well if needed. China have a lot of similar sites and stuff but they have like an iron wall on what's allow on the internet, mostly political stuff that's towards negative issues about the country.
THAT'S WHY Communism SUXXXXXXXXX!!!!! my teacher when to china for further study and he cant FB, blog.... but hopfull he can msn... Hey try Proxy ^ ^ might work... but it will be a bit slow i think.... haha
Don't be ridiculous. No you wouldn't; none of us would. So snap out of it... Facebook is nothing more than Popular Asians, except it's a forum with a lot more of your personal details exposed to the public. If you're really that emotionally desperate, then tell us your real name; post your real pictures, show us where you live, work, shop, your taste in clothes and friends... y voila Popular Asian Facebook Then PA can sell your demographic data to anyone it wants (marketers, advertisers, etc) for lots of money while you put your own personal data at risk on the internet. Sounds good, right? So tell us your real name, then... LOL... An open question to all: personally I can't see why people should be so stupid to have an account with any real personal information. How many other people here (besides me), do NOT have a Facebook account and plan to never have one?
They only call themselves Communists as a way of marketing or selling their style of governance and control to the masses at large (like we in the west talk about Democracy!). The PRC is not in any way politically extant or functional as envisioned by the father of communism (Karl Marx). In fact, by definition, they're really a oligarchy. From Wiki: The best way to describe their political organization would be to say that they're similar to the Italian mafia or old fashion Chinese Triads, but in their case, their gang calls itself the Chinese Communist Party.
some of my friends in china manage find access to FB via some proxy... but look on the bright side... now's the chance to go out n have a proper o/s holiday rather than still checking ur FB page
going on a holiday and being on FB ALL the time defeats the whole of objective of it... I mean GO OUT for god sake and explore and you may find new friends and new places that you like????? everytime i go to HK i only go onthe internet when I have NOTHING whatsoever to do when I wake up or before bedtime or even when I'm skint and can't go nowhere for the day
Haha all that is so true. Okay so I have a facebook but I still agree with you, I've never used my real name though and very limited amount of information about myself I think it's scary what information people give out over the internet.
I'm inclined to agree but it depends what you use it for. I do go on the internet when I vacation, but instead of trying to use the internet as I do at home, I use it for finding things quickly about where I'm vacationing. In other words, it becomes a resource in regards to my vacation, not a time distraction. I think a lot of kids that go on vacation (especially those on their parent's dime) fall into the former group; that is, they go to some holiday hot spot and really don't know what to do with themselves. So the vacation actually becomes an intrusion into their regular mundane lives. They then look for ways to be excused from the vacation with any trappings of home, ie. the internet, chatting with their usual friends about inane things; the net has become an electronic mall for these directionless time wasters. What's really scary is that in their user agreement, you turn your rights over to them, for everything that you put there. That means, for example, you could be writing a story that you wish to have published, but too late... they publish it and not pay you dime, because all user content belongs to them. They can sell your pictures for use in advertising and you would not be able to say anything because you've already granted them the right to do so. I can't believe how people are this brain dead. :rolleyes2:
