    I beg to differ.

education don't mean a thing if you got luck on your side/ I have seen janitors move up the ranks and become managers .lol

  2. ^ are you serious?!?!

but thats probably rare isnt it...

Which company is that? Thought now, majority of businesses requires at least some diploma of some sort before they hire as manager.

can't believe you hate college... it's freaking awesome. Probably the best time of your life to meet people (girls especially :) ) and experience new stuffs (alcohol). Tons of stuffs you can do... join a frat, some organization :) and maybe get involved with the university. Wait till you graduate and work... that's when it sux.

i beg to differ. university/college can be fun if you are in a program that requires a low passing average, like engineering which only requires 60% to get your degree. But if you are in a pre-professional program you might need an average of 80% or higher, which can make things quite stressful (my situation). I know guys in engineering who are merely cruising and boozing their way through school, whereas I'm quite stressed out as to wtf im going to do if i dont make it into the professional program i want (pharmacy). To be honest, i just want to get out of school as fast as possible and not waste a huge chunk of my life attempting to obtain a satisfactory career. Beer and girls are great, but since i have this huge weight on my shoulders of getting into the program i want, its kinda tough to relax with that kinda shit. A person's perspective on post-secondary is totally subjective to their own situation.

I'd like to know as well. Most successful business people will not tell you they got where they are today because of luck. They will tell you they got there through hard work and determination.

Agreeeed. I don't want to sound all cliched and sh!t, but it's true when they say college is what you make of it. College years are for you to discover weed, beer, and girls. [IMG]

I hate the university that I am attending right now. They suck and they force students to take out a private student loan, don't provide enough finanical aod for students, don't care about the students, don't provide enough academic supports for the students don't have flexible time for course that we schedule. So I hate my university so much.

I think you're uni isn't as bad as mine...is basically every problem you got plus grouping up with people who are struggling with english and they don't understand chinese! So I have trouble communicating, plus no friend you know in your class or have free time when you have one and also not coping well with your uni friends...so basically uni for me is like restarting your whole life ==" but beginning at uni level...

Dude, I'm in my fourth year and still counting. I'm about just as sick of it as you are. I've only got a total of 5 weeks' break scattered about the entire year. I've tens of textbooks each the size of a headstone (no kidding!) to cover, assignments to hand in, night shifts to attend to.

But there are plus points to still being in school. For one, you're well taken care of financially, you don't have to work your ass off to provide a living...wait til you get a job, I think it'll be even harder to work in the gym.

Secondly, you get more holidays (relatively) as compared to those working. THere are days when I get so sick of class I totally skip it altogether (only to suffer later, but that's besides the point) but i odn't think you can do that if you're working.
