Which soundcard would match the 150 ohm impedance of sennheiser pc350? Does X-fi Extreme Gamer soundcard match?

  2. or you know what you can do?

you can pick up a pair of good earbuds, and wear this like a true progamer:

    False, they're entry level headphones.
    True.
Open headphones are terrible for gaming mainly because they are not isolating by nature. Closed headphones, even though they do get warm, are ideal for gaming.

  4. Sometimes you cant put your speakers to loud because of others in the house, headphones are the next step.

    you hijacked my thread!!!!!! >.<

Good question, i dont think it can which is why youll have to get an external amplifier if you want the headphones to work properly, this is why you get nubs on youtube saying the bass aint very good etc, they cant power the things! PC sound cards cant push as much power as you would expect from something that is indirectly connected to a mains supply. using these kinds of headphones for ''most'' portable devices is a bad idea unless you dont mind having a battery powered amp in your bag....

    Got a point there.
But oh well, I don't use earphones at all when gaming.
Don't like the sweat that's collected. Feels like crap.
Imagine being in the middle of some intense game and feeling all warm on the ears. Honestly, I'd give up quality just to avoid having that crappy feeling.
Which is why I'm using Westone UM2.
Which in my humble opinion is way awesome.
    Haha. :p
