I don't think it's that big of a deal, but I have my preferences for many reasons. Health, culture, and background are important to me. Sometimes racial stereotyping occurs simply because of the attachments of culture. White/Asian (korean,japanese,chinese) OH well.
Oh don't worry about it because most blacks don't like Asians either, LOL... (In case that went over your head, I'm joking, of course) And if you think racism is big in the west, just wait until China gets really big and successful and all people of different colors will start trying to go to China. I think I prefer people within my own race, but I won't limit my expectations to that. I think there is a diffrence between our "ideal person" and the person we will actually marry right?
I have no problem with interracial dating, but personally, i'm just more attracted to asians. Probably because i've grown up watching the tvbs and you fall for the "nice" guys and they're always asian in tvbs
honestly, dating a white girl was easier than my previous asian gfs. now that MIGHT have something to do with me going out with somewhat bitchy asian girls, cause...iunno i find it fun LOL. regardless, one thing i noticed is marriage never crossed my mind with her. i THINK because i grew up watching so many romantic HK movies, it automatically became my standard. even after i read articles about some very EMBARRASSING hk girls who do compensation dating. it does disgust me, but my ideal is still an hk girl. this isnt even race, because i hang out with mostly mainland girls at the moment, and my image for marriage is STILL an hk girl. now aint that some shiat. i find it so weird, i dont even speak cantonese that much, but my idea of marriage is still speaking cantonese with my wife...lol wtf.

Yeah, I agree with most of the people here. I think dating somebody who is not Asian just doesn't fell right. I mean the thought or kissing a really black pair of cheeks is not exactly the most arousing image I can think off.
