It all depends on if you were in HK before and what your interests are. If you were never in HK before, I think that the following places can be interesting: - Victoria Peak at night (Great view on HK Island, Victoria Harbour and Tsim Sha Tsui) - Stanley Market - HK Disney or Ocean Park (there are Panda's in Ocean Park) - Lucky Valley (just to taste the atmosphere at a horse racing track) - The Big Budha and the New Cable Train attraction. - Star Ferry (take a boot ride to the otherside, instead of taking the MTR) - Hong Kong Park Interested in shopping: - Mongkok (for digital cameras to computers) - IFC - Ocean Plaza - Querry Bay (Sogo) - etc Food - Sushi in Hunghom - etc But you can always go to the following site: http://www.discoverhongkong.com.hk/eng/index.jsp There you can see if there are any music concert or exhibitions at the moment you are in HK. And read everything more conveniantly. BTW you can also try to join Overseas Chinese Clubs like: http://www.occlub.org/ Founded by a good friend of mine
probably Lan gwei fong (when i'm old enough -.-;; ) tung lo wan and wanchai for shoppin' and maybe a lil' mongkok, just to chill (haven't been there in a while o.o don't know where anything is XD)
Perhaps you should postpone your trip to HK or stay longer, because 2 young panda's are coming to Ocean Park
-_- awwww u guys are all so lucky i've never been to hong kong yet , also my parents wont let me go with my friends ,since i dont know how to read chinese only speak they think i will get lost or something.
If i was at HK, I would definitely go try the cuisine they have to offer there, go shopping and go to that Gundam meusem that many of my friends have been talking about.
take the cable car up to the mountain peck and look at the whole HK from the sky, take the 360 skyrail to the big budha. but the best place is the jockey club, go down to the field next to the track and yell for your horse, its hella fun!
