Good point. From a technological standpoint, this iphone is a massive failure lol. A shame people like spending a shit load of money on such a failure.
As long as it makes them money. They're in the business of making money, not solely advancing technology. Not a fan of the iPhone in general, but it seems like they over hyped it. Its more like a iPhone 4S2 lol.
Or they should have it named iPhone 4GS... :laugh2: they have 4G/LTE.. And yeah, I agree with Jelly, they are only in business for making money, other than that, they haven't really innovated since the first iPhone I will say. All the features they have are playing catch up with Android. Apple sure have good marketing though. Wonder will Samsung actually sue Apple for using LTE.. Read somewhere that HTC AND Samsung is getting the lawsuit ready against Apple using LTE in US and EU
Extremely true. Though to be honest, I don't put blame on Apple at all. The ones that are at fault for this technological failure is not Apple, but its ignorant and uneducated consumers.
From that chart it seems like SGS3 is better and if it's not, it's way more affordable, so to compare bit by bit SGS3 wins. #66 HAHA those people "it's faster, lighter, brighter, better.etc" the one that owns an iPhone4s should get embarrassed on front of the camera, it's the same phone. Thanks for sharing. Yeah they should have named it iPhone4GS (4G/LTE so yeah...) To be honest, I don't think it's innovative, it is not like these stuff don't exist on the current market. So what if it's a 16:9 screen ratio. There's not much of a big difference compared to the iPhone4S. I like the way how people get hyped up though, I'm just like meh.
The one mystery that iPhone 5 still have is the processor. If the A6 is using A15 architecture, it will be the first in the market to use it. In terms of spec, A15 would be better than Snapdragon S4/Krait being used in SGS3 (US/Canada Versions). But it all comes down to software though... and personal preference.
Had the original iphone. Loved it when it first came out, innovative, and no other smart phone like it on the market. Currently rockin an SGS3 and lovin it even more. Definitely will not go back to Apple until they: -get rid of or majorly improve on itunes so I can directly load content I want onto MY phone without going through Apple's software. -allow customers to purchase cheaper 3rd party batteries & change it themselves instead of being charged premium prices for the same battery & being forced to pay Apple to change the battery -get a bigger screen (even the new iphone 5 screen is only 4in, SGS3 is almost 5in! soo much easier to surf the web) -allow memory card use so I can expand my memory with cheap memory cards instead of paying ridiculous prices for a measly extra 16 gigs of memory, and not be able to expand anymore when I use it up. Apple is an awesome & innovative company. Unfortunately it's so greedy that they have the limitations to control the end user & be able to nickel & dime the consumers to death. If they fix the above problems, they can so easily kick Samsung's ass.
Well you see, the same argument can be said about computers. There are two things that need to be said: 1) Most consumers (and particularly Apple consumers) don't know what the hell a processor is. So Snapdragon or A6, it's the same to them. 2) And particularly to Apple fans, and as you've said, Apple fanboys love to say "it's all about the apps". So you're right, it's about the software. So, since those two points negate the benefits of a better processor, if that's all the iPhone 5 has, then wtf are people still buying it for?
Where are all the apple fanboys at PA? I need a poll to see what is best phone out there for this holiday shopping...lol
See this is the problem with consumers. They're too concerned with what everyone else thinks is a good product, not what product is really the "best" for what they need it for. Start worrying about what you consider is a "best phone" for you.
