omg dawn, i cant agree with u anymore! haha its kinda the best feeling.. yet not knowing the complete truth from the other person is like >.< sometimes i feel so stoopid for smiling at a simple sms.. and the smile jsut happens to stay there for longer than expected haha it just doesnt seem to want to go away hahah -rolleyes
I don't like being single, I've actually been single for a long time before my first (and current) boyfriend, I think things are a lot more interesting when you're with someone. I don't mind the limited freedom.
Maybe you should just break up with your gf then, if that's really how you feel. You'd be doing the both of you a favor.
I think for a guys like to be single more, they can do what ever they want. but for girls they like to find someone to be with and do things with that person.
being single or not is a choice that each individu will make argumenting with his own present life(style). Ladies will agree when i say carreer and family is damn dificult to deal with at the same time... at least for the old fashion way (means taking care of the kids at home: cloths, dinner, homework...) present life also means that the futur can look very different. Then you have the different of guys and ladies; most of the ladies want to "settle down" at a certain age... Now for ppl who don't like to be in a long term relationship; you can always do what most mamals do hehe; once in a while get togheter and ... then each go their way hehe. for me relationship is dealing with compromise, being the complement of each other; no more no less. when this balance is made it's damn dificult to get out: try to get for a month away and it will be a mess when you come back home hehe. so freedom: dunno, i don't feel less free in my relationship. maybe it's called being mature hehe.
Okay, I'm sorry if I offended you, but the way you wrote your statement...it just sounded to me as if you were complaining. If, however, I really did misinterpret your message, then I apologise. Anyway, responding to the original topic...I think being single is great. I'm more of an independent type of person, and most guys suck anyways. Would much rather spend quality time shopping and fine dining with my girlfriends. -cool
Being single has it good side, but i prefer being with someone. The companionship outweights all the benefits of being single.
just love the life being single... gain my freedom without being control and i can hangout with anyone without being grumble
It really depends on the person. Some people are happier single, other people need to be in a couple. Character and temperment are important. Just find whatever works for you. I know people who must have their own space and choose the single life. They still have lots of friends and a social life, but they prefer the freedom of the bachelor/bachelorette lifestyle. Other folks can't function outside a relationship and enjoy the security of always having that other person and being a couple. Especially these days, more and more people are child-free by choice or choose to adopt so there isn't that pressure anymore to marry and breed. There's more variety in lifestyle.
being single right now is great cuz no need to live up to social expectations and can do watever you want. Still in school without a job, no need to have to be on a set time schedule to have to do something with someone after classes.
being single has its ups and down like everyone said b/c sometimes you just want someone to be there with you but being single has a lot of freedom that's what i like
Beeing singel is good in one way and not good in another. You will get lonely for a long time without a partner.
