Right response? This may sound passé but drop hints like for example, you can pretend to tell him about a fictional guy hitting on you. Then you can tell him that you rejected the guy coz you don't wanna be in a relationship at the moment; enjoying the single life and stuffs like dat. I am sure he'll get the hint if he's not dumb.

Guys can't be friends with pretty girls =P (or girls that they find attractive, [personality, looks] & also there has to be no barriers [distance, age]) If you're going to give hints..then hrmmmm xD, What if he doesn't get it ? What if he's the type who needs to be told specifically, and things need to be made clear (like me - I hate to assume[even if the hints are super obvious] coz theres alot of room for misunderstandings/misinterpretation). There is a barrier... the language one.. his english is not too good... we sometimes misunderstand eachother because we have different culture background... and there is gonna be the distance barrier too in a few months...
