If he takes you as a friend, he wouldnt mind that much (thats if its the 1st time you've been in a group of 3) And also, there're are heaps of nice guys in sydney... (im not one of them lols) but yeh.. Seems like you've got some good ideas on what to do next (talk to him about it the next time he says he misses u), just don't let him get too deep, AND if your truely not willing to get into any serious relationship due to barriers and other complications then make sure you don't fall in too deep either xD As for your excuse to let your friend along, its a reasonable excuse lol.
