My advice is just not to keep your hopes up. She told you a few months back that she probably would not be getting a boyfriend soon. Either she means it or she's just not very interested in you. Another thing I would add is if you really do want to pursue a relationship with someone - not just her, but anyone in general - give it time. Don't tell someone you're interested in her just after a week of talking. Give it time to build up the friendship first and if by the way she acts and talks to you you sorta have an inkling that she likes you as well, then you can bring it up to her. But a week? Maybe a bit too fast. That's just my 2 cents on this.
